In addition to performing its main function, the lubrication system provides cooling of engine parts, removal of fouling and wear products, and protection of engine parts against corrosion. The engine lubrication system includes an engine crankcase pan with oil intake, oil pump, oil filter, oil cooler, which are interconnected by lines and ducts.

We tested a piston with strong contaminations to the use of the additive on the petrol car with a mileage of 200.000 km. After the application the coking on the piston through consecutive application of the additives were removed.
In order to ensure the full function of the piston rings, they must not be restricted in their horizontal movement or contact pressure. However, coking, especially by oil carbon, can hinder or jam the mobility of the compression rings. This can lead to a lower contact pressure of the rings and a lower engine compression. Less engine power is then the result. It is therefore important to loosen the oil carbon on the piston rings with the aid of special cleaning additives before changing the oil.
We performed the engine compression test after using BIZOL Oil System Clean+ o90.
Cleaning the oil system with BIZOL Oil System Clean+ o90 increases compression and restores the elasticity of o-ring seal. Improved compression reduces exhaust gases and thereby protects the catalytic converter and DPF. This results into a noticeably smoother engine run and increased operational reliability.
