MOTO HAS GOT YOUR VISCOSITY COVERED

BIZOL is proud to welcome two new additions to its family of motorcycle oils. The Moto range now includes the 10W-30 and 20W-40 viscosities, meaning greater freedom of choice and truly comprehensive coverage. Our motorcycle oils use only the highest-quality base oils and additives to provide maximum protection across all viscosity ranges. The newcomers slot seamlessly into the line‑up, meeting the needs of both small capacity and large capacity machines.

At BIZOL we understand that a motorcycle’s needs are different. Motorcycle engines rev harder and develop more power per litre than a car engine, making them lively and responsive. Unfortunately, the downside is that motorcycle engine oil has to contend with higher levels of heat, contamination and oil splash. We have formulated Moto to exceed at controlling deposits, limiting the formation of oil foam and being resistant to high operating temperatures in order to alleviate the additional stresses placed on a motorcycle oil.

BIZOL oils contain the latest additive packages and comprise a sophisticated blend of detergents and dispersants to keep contamination and deposits away from engine and clutch components. And because surfaces inside the engine are kept cleaner, components function as intended, meaning that gearshifts are crisp, smooth and precise and performance stays razor sharp. But the benefits do not end there, our lubricants also deliver improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions.

Oils in the Moto range have another reassuring feature, they all conform to the latest JASO standards. The latest additions being no exception, as they comply with the JASO MA2 standard. Compliance with industry standards is exceedingly important because it means you can trust the oil to perform as the manufacturer intended.

We work tirelessly to ensure that oil longevity is and remains a standard feature of all our oils. BIZOL Moto contains a package of antioxidants that retard the oil ageing process, thus ensuring long replacement intervals. Extensive efforts to keep oil evaporation and consumption to an absolute minimum have been rewarded, as we have achieved the ambitious targets we set ourselves.

Oils in the Moto range have a high viscosity index – a key indicator of quality – the pay-off being stable flow characteristics and reliable lubrication under all conditions. A critical function that all engine oils have to perform is cooling. The particular challenge for motorcycle engine oil is that oils must possess sufficient reserves of cooling capacity to counteract the lower efficiency of motorcycle cooling systems.

A majority of motorcycle engines contain lubricant that is used for both the engine and transmission. The dual-purpose oil has to provide lubrication and protection to the engine components, guarantee smooth gear selection and be compatible with all gearbox and wet clutch components. Optimal clutch operation and take up of drive are additional demands that the oil must cope with and underlines why high levels of cleanliness are so important.

So, as you can see, we have put considerable thought and invested significant resources into getting the Moto oil range right. If you want to find out more about oil technology in general, take a look at our BLOG.

Car leaking coolant: causes, symptoms and best solutions

Driving is a blend of exhilaration and convenience, but sometimes, your trusty car can hit a snag. One of the most frustrating issues is a coolant leak.

Coolant, often referred to as the versatile 'antifreeze,' assumes the uncelebrated role of an automotive guardian, ensuring your engine's harmonious operation. This unassuming fluid stands as a bulwark against the scorching summer heat and the bone-chilling cold of winter. Nevertheless, when the vigilance of antifreeze wanes, and it embarks on an unauthorized journey beyond its confines, ominous troubles come into view.
